I absolutely love generals for quick bite. There is nothing healthy here, but the food is amazing. Had the chili cheese fries today. It is super tasty and portion size is large. Cost was 5.00. If your looking for occasional guilty pleasure, this is a must if you're in Shafter.

Burgers are fire! They are so Fresh and juicy. I drive from Bakersfield to Shafter to get burgers from here for my family when we are craving a fast food burger. There is no competition , these are the best burgers period.

Needed a quick bite while working Shafter the other day and saw General's so I decided to drop in. It's your typical high school type fast food place with burgers, fries and assorted stuff like chicken strips. The food is really reasonably priced, cheaper than a lot of other places. Staff is very friendly and the food came out quick with no old oil taste or anything unpleasant. Fries were hot and crispy, good ranch and good fried burritos. Can't ask for much more; quick, cheap, tasty.

Best Hamburgers in Kern County. We have been coming here for Ten plus years. Service is always the best . I drive from Bakersfield just to have their food. The inside and outside is always clean. They serve the best food, keep up the great work Generals Headquarters.

As busy as it can get, the Staff is very professional about everything. It kind of feels like family food. They all seem to work very well together. Very in sync very united. The food is absolutely delicious. The Mugg sisters are soo welcoming. There's a reason why it has lasted for decades here in Shafter and growing. If you're passing through or if you're new to the city, this is the place to try.

Wasco Location Super clean! Love that it's so much closer to home. The staff is super fast and clean with their service. The chili cheese fries are to die for!
